Cyberpunk 2077 - Badlands open world #1

I was the main terrain artist on Cyberpunk 2077 and also focused on open world level art in the Badlands.
I was responsible for developing our terrain pipeline along with Daniel Olejnik and taking the terrain draft to final quality

I also worked on decorating the desert open world of the Badlands, including a couple of locations, and it would not have been possible without the two awesome and talented artists Andreas Stavaas and Wiktoria Stachowska with whom I worked as a team to bring you the Badlands as you see it today.

They both did a tremendous job with Badlands locations, open world level art, rocks ands cliffs decosets and overall composition and visual magic.
You can see their work in all the in-game screenshots shown right here.

Terrain textures were made by the legendary Mark Foreman.

All the vegetation in the game was created by our own Michal Buczkowski.

Special thanks to our Lead Environment Artist Kacper Niepokólczycki and Environment Art Director Lucjan Więcek for keeping us pushing the quality further and further during the whole production.

And of course a big thank you to the whole team for making such an awesome game a reality.
